Vancouver, Canada Adventure Immigration Services Inc. Full time

A licensed immigration firm in Vancouver, BC (Opp. Joyce SkyTrain Station) is looking for an energetic and enthusiastic Immigration Assistant. This is a full-time position 30-40 hours per week.

This is _not_ a remote position.

**JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Create and revise documents such as internal guides and templates
- Conduct exhaustive research on immigration programs, immigration law and identify relevant case laws as needed
- Arrange and attend to meetings in-person and on the phone
- Assess client options for Permanent Residence including Express Entry, sponsorship and provincial programs
- Participate in the optimization, streamlining and implementation of administrative procedures
- Monitor notifications from immigration news sources to ensure up-to-date knowledge on immigration programs
- Maintain, manage and organize hard copies and soft copies of files
- Keep detailed records of meetings and casework
- Other related duties as required

**Wages**:$17.00 per hour to start. Eligible for increments based on performance.

Healthcare benefits available after 3 months plus other perks.

**Education**:
Completion of Secondary School Education is required. A University Degree or College Diploma in a related field will be an asset.

This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates of a program related to legal studies or immigration law specifically.

- Professional and organized with strong time-management skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and trust
- Ability to work independently and also as a team player under heavy pressure with strict time sensitive deadlines
- Keen ability to research and analyze immigration law
- Patience and a positive attitude
- Excellent typing / keyboarding skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office suite programs including MS Outlook, MS Word, MS Excel

Proficiency in **Hindi, Spanish, Tagalog, Vietnamese** or another secondary language is an asset
