**Role Description**
***Reporting to the Managing Director, you will play a key role in developing and managing Canadian sales as well as developing sales channels with international partners. Bringing your in-depth expertise, knowledge and understanding of the North American cannabis market you will endeavor to increase our market share through sourcing and developing key relationships and establishing networks with cannabis and cannabis related organizations domestically and internationally. This is an excellent opportunity for the right individual to join an exciting new licensed producer that is growing every day.

This person will work closely with the Sales Account Associates and the Marketing Team in uncovering new business opportunities, creating awareness in key markets, setting appointments and presenting Medisun cannabis products and solutions to the appropriate decision-makers within the prospect organizations. They include Licensed LP, and Provincial Governments.

**Qualification/Education**
- 8+ years of experience in business development/sales, team management, key account management, strategic sales and marketing and contract negotiation
- Experience at a senior level, managing and mentoring teams and driving the department for success
- Bachelor of Arts, Science or Business Administration is required, MBA is preferred
- Demonstrated ability to build long term business relationships in international jurisdictions
- Specialist within cannabis sector preferred - major companies, business models, stakeholders, regulatory environment, and products
- Requires ability to travel and/or attend related industry events
- Proven business development expertise within the cannabis industry is preferable
