**Your opportunity**:
The Campaign Leadership Liaison Officer will be part of the Campaign Planning team, reporting to the Director, Campaign Planning.

The Campaign Leadership Liaison Officer will be responsible for managing and overseeing engagement opportunities for the University’s Campaign Co-Chairs, Campaign Steering Committee members, and other central Advancement leadership volunteers such as the International Leadership Councils. In this role, the incumbent will be managing our Defy Gravity Campaign leadership volunteer engagement, organizing campaign volunteer engagement events and supporting prospect development work including, reviewing profiles and prospect records, ensuring information on file is up to date and correct and making recommendations for development and implementation plans for prospect identification, cultivation, solicitation and recognition. This will also include, planning for the Co-Chair engagement calendar and briefing, coordinating with stakeholders on Co-Chair participation in University / Campaign initiatives and signature events, coordinating with the Co-Chairs’ offices to brief and prep them prior to engagement opportunities, coordinating with our Advancement Communications and Marketing team on coverage (social media, owned media, earned media) of Co-Chair engagement events and activities as well as of the Defy Gravity Campaign, and coordinatingCo-Chair and leadership volunteer engagement in regional events / activities as required.

In this role, the incumbent will work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure the activities that Co-Chairs, Campaign Steering Committee members, andInternational Leadership Council members are engaged, well-managed, successful, and supported. The Campaign Leadership Liaison officer will prepare guidelines for engagement of Co-Chairs in University activities. The incumbent will be responsible for tracking outcomes and activities from co-chair meetings, moving initiatives forward and managing progress.

The incumbent is responsible for coordinating and preparing appropriate and comprehensive briefing materials that support campaign volunteerdevelopment activity for the Assistant Vice-President University Development and the Assistant Vice-President Divisional Relations. This role will also assist the office of the Vice-President Advancement with Co-Chair, Campaign Steering Committee, and other campaign volunteer related development activity as required.

**Your responsibilities will include**:

- Maintaining ongoing relationships with donors whose co-operation is important to the University
- Writing briefing notes, solicitation plans and call reports to track donor interaction
- Advising on strategies for potential major donor prospects
- Identifying, fostering and maintaining relationships with donors and prospects in support of the University's priorities
- Developing content for marketing and/or promotional materials
- Conceptualizing, organizing and executing event activities
- Producing complex donor reports
- Formatting data collected for presentations and reports

**Essential Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's Degree or acceptable combination of equivalent experience.
- Minimum three years experience with proven track record of planning and implementing fundraising plans and programs
- Experience managing donor relations, developing, and implementing plans to support donor management and/or stewardship strategies
- Experience conceptualizing, organizing, and executing events
- Experience in writing project specific proposals related to fundraising activities
- Experience working with a diverse array of stakeholders
- Excellent relationship building skills with an ability to engage and work with a variety of internal and external stakeholders
- Demonstrated experience in donor-related research, analysis, writing and reporting
- Experience with Microsoft Office 365
- Ability to work with and gain credibility with high-level volunteers and
