Sagkeeng Child and Family Services (SCFS) is a First Nations CFS Agency who strives to recruit inspired, accountable and driven individuals to join our diverse talented team of professionals. We are currently recruiting for permanent fulltime Training & Assessment Lead for our Winnipeg office.

Job Summary and Qualifications

The Training & Assessment Lead will report directly to the Training & Development Specialist and provide training and mentoring to agency employees.

**Requirements**:

- Related post secondary diploma/degree such as social services, education, business administration and public administration; other combinations of education and experience will be considered;
- Minimum 3 years working within a child welfare setting;
- Minimum 3 years experience working with Indigenous communities;
- Strong awareness of educational institutions/training programs in Manitoba that are relevant to Child & Family Services;
- Knowledge in developing and delivering learning curriculums;
- Demonstrated knowledge of existing training in Manitoba’s child welfare system and training needs of the system;
- Excellent organizational, leadership and interpersonal skills;
- Demonstrated strong knowledge of MS Office, social media tools and presentation tools;
- Valid class five driver’s license and a reliable insured vehicle (travel is required);
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES (but not limited to):

- Training of SCFS assessment tools;
- Training of new Child Welfare laws of Sagkeeng once they are developed;
- Assist individual staff with the transfer of learning after training has been completed;
- Develop training materials and conduct and/or observe training sessions;
- Research information on content applicable to training and workshop development;
- Assist with ongoing development and revision of SCFS assessment tools;
- Training of SCFS assessment tools once developed;
- One to one support and mentoring to staff in office and in the field;
- Training new staff (hands on standards, orientations);
- Coordinate and deliver workshops and other training opportunities;
- Compile and maintain data, monitor program impact and inform of ongoing program development and evaluation;
- Ensure each staff provides a report after attending webinars/courses etc
- Travelling may be required to complete job duty or attend training session;
- Must be willing to work late when required and requested;
- Other duties as may be assigned by Supervisor/Management;

Pay: $62,337.00-$88,646.00 per year
