**Quality Improvement Manager**

**Position Overview**:
As the Quality Improvement Manager, you will play a central role in elevating the operations and quality standards of our three distinguished treatment centers. Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, you'll drive strategic planning, proactive risk management, and cultivate a culture of excellence. Your leadership and managerial prowess will ensure the realization of funder expectations while fostering collaboration and enriching the lives of the youth we serve.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:
Managerial Accountability:

- Guide and support treatment services managers in achieving and exceeding expectations and program objectives.
- Supervise and ensure the implementation of managerial workplans, center programming calendars, and intake calendars, ensuring meticulous adherence and timely completion.
- Directly manage 2-4 employees, provide leadership, oversee schedules, review time-off requests, conduct regular performance reviews, and support professional development.

Managerial Support:

- Foster growth in center managers' leadership, decision-making, and conflict resolution abilities through coaching and mentoring.
- Provide expert guidance on navigating challenging situations, promoting a balanced and thoughtful approach to decision-making.
- Provide managerial coverage in emergencies, ensuring continuity of operations and care.

Operational Oversight:

- Conduct regular site visits to Thunder Bay, Sioux Lookout, and Timmins to inspect and ensure high-quality service delivery and professionalism at all three Centres.
- Address common or unique issues at the centers, promoting consistent best practices.
- Developing and implementing corrective actions in response to quality issues.
- Collaborate with center managers to optimize operations, streamline processes, and enhance overall service quality.

Strategic Plan Implementation:

- Engage the managerial team in strategic planning, fostering alignment and ownership.
- Monitor progress, identify deviations, and recommend adjustments to ensure successful plan execution.

Risk Management:

- Identify potential operational risks and develop proactive strategies to mitigate them.
- Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards as per policy, ministry guidelines, and relevant legislation (CYFSA, PHIPA, OHSA, AODA, Ontario Human Rights, etc.)
- Confirm compliance to the organization’s risk management plan, evaluate the plan’s effectiveness, and make necessary adjustments to enhance risk mitigation.

Reporting and Communication:

- Report managerial issues and center performance to the CEO as required.
- Foster effective communication channels among center managers, promoting knowledge sharing and collaboration.

**Qualifications**:

- Discretion and professionalism in handling confidential information
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
- Strong leadership and coaching skills with a focus on conflict resolution and decision-making.
- Ability to maintain professionalism under pressure and respond effectively to emergencies.
- Proactivity, effective task prioritization, and keen attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, SharePoint), and Adobe Reader Pro
- Able to provide a satisfactory police record check and provide proof of Covid-19 vaccination.
- Willingness to travel frequently between Thunder Bay, Sioux Lookout, and Timmins.

Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or related field.
- Proven experience in quality improvement, strategic planning, and risk management.
