**The Opportunity**

Manager, Inside Sales, will be responsible for providing direction and leadership in all aspects of the quoting and order fulfillment journey. This position will drive the customer experience workflows through timely processing, efficiency, and accuracy. This position will also drive and lead continuous improvement efforts ensuring that product quoting and order fulfillment strategies align with AGI’s vision for customer excellence and play a major role in customer relations.

**The Team**

This role will report directly to the Senior Manager, Sales Execution and will have about 5 direct and 4 indirect reports.

**Responsibilities**:
**Internal/Inside Sales Leadership & Support**:

- Lead opportunity qualification for internal and external team members.
- Hold direct reports accountable for adequate communication and delivery of work product.
- Develop digital training material for stakeholders and new employees including industry/facility related and how AGI products are best applied. This includes, but is not limited to training manuals, video tutorials, best practices, legal design and safety. Support and guide inside sales training practices through course recommendations and assessments of knowledge gaps that require improvement.
- Analyze and provide technical recommendations with input from appropriate experts to ensure continuity across AGI.
- Assist on Project Management tasks for large projects over one million dollars in scope where needed including representing team in project meetings with customers, cross divisional or corporate.
- Partner with Application Manager to identify and manage risk across technical and contractual parameters ensuring risk to AGI is mitigated through code compliance.
- Provide leadership, development and coaching to Sales Execution staff.
- Focus on support of quote and order execution of projects through commercial sales teams.
- Provide analysis and updates to leadership and other departments on quoting including feedback on lost opportunities.
- Support and facilitate collaboration and improvement of business tools to align with AGI project modern objectives and best serve customers.
- Promote culture of continuous improvement within the department including focus on safety, quote/design quality, and turnaround times.
- Responsible for departmental hiring, procedures, and standards.

**Business Development**:

- Compose product literature releases for sales, contractors, and consultants to aid in understanding product lines and having AGI specified in projects before tender.
- Support product management initiatives in identifying gaps in AGI product offerings with industry potential to increase competitive offerings.
- Influence and collaborate with functional teams outside of Sales Execution to support customers.

**External/Customer & Outside Sales Support**:

- Assisting to close deals through on-site support, client visits, and remote technical assistance; reviewing opportunity details including process flow diagrams, equipment specifications, general arrangement drawings, etc.,
- Provide a voice for the customer in details and presentation of quotes, approval drawings, equipment specifications and
standards AGI provides to ensure estimators and coordinators are providing our most competitive and suitable offering for customer satisfaction and chance of sale.
- Review and assist with the development of RFQ documents for North America Sales to develop detailed flow concepts and equipment lists
- Work with product experts to ensure quotes meet customer expectations and facility design intent.

**Qualifications**
- Post secondary Engineering, Technical Certification, Business, or Agriculture education or equivalent experience required. P.Eng. or M.S. in engineering preferred.
- 10+ years combined agricultural experience in agricultural, construction, engineering, design, manufacturing, field support, or project management.
- Strong technical aptitude with mechanical and structural concepts.
- Strong business analysis and project management capabilities.
- Strong leadership and effective communicator, both verbal and written. Can effectively communicate technical ideas or issues to other technical and non-technical people.
- Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills and problem-solving ability. Ability to effectively deliver feedback, communicate expectations in a positive and timely manner, manage conflict, and motivate a team.
