Our central station operators are the most integral component of our alarm monitoring service. They provide our customers with top of the line alarm response and customer service.
The Monitoring Center has a dedicated team of employees to ensure that our alarm, customer service and follow up are the keys to an effective alarm-monitoring program. For the last 22 years The Monitoring Center has been providing 24/7 full service alarm monitoring on all types of alarm systems. This includes: burglary alarms, fire alarms, panic alarms, medical alarms and many more. The Monitoring Center is a ULC/UL rated central station as well as a CSAA certified station with a history of only success.
In this position, similarly to a 911 dispatcher, our staff dispatches the police, ambulance, fire department or guard service depending on the various signals received and the various requirements from our customers. We ensure our operators are trained to provide our customers with efficient and professional service responding to their emergencies.
**Key Responsibilities**:
**Initial Responsibilities (estimated 6 months timeline)**
- Converting and filing hard copy confidential customer and internal files on daily basis
- Data Entry through archive and order processing software when necessary
- Accept and organize parts/supplies orders on weekly basis
- Various tasks as assigned by Operations Manager
**Developed Responsibilities**
- Converting and filing hard copy confidential customer and internal files on weekly basis
- Data Entry and closing of work orders through archive and order processing software on daily basis
- Accept and organize parts/supplies orders on weekly basis
- Various bulk mailouts on monthly basis as well as individual mail outs when necessary
- Generate, assign, and track purchase orders for various suppliers and technicians
- Update and maintain technician inventory
- Various tasks as assigned by Operations Manager
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $17.00-$18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 - 45 per week
