**Job Summary**
- Dalhousie Financial Services strives to provide the highest quality financial services and information and ensure the effective stewardship of University assets to the benefit of students and scholarly activities. Financial Services is a core service unit of the University, providing services in areas of financial accounting, budgeting, procurement and risk management, cash management, and financial systems and policies. Reporting to the Accounts Payable Manager and working closely with the Team Lead, Processing, Accounts Payable, the Accounts Payable Clerk provides support for the Procure to Pay Team.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Process invoices for payment and follow up on outstanding transactions through various types of reporting, including but not limited to PO and non-PO supplier invoices, internal payment requisitions, and reconciliation of vendor statements.
- Collaborate with Accounts Payable team and management on process improvements for both Procurement and Accounts Payable Teams.
- Provides support and performs other duties as required for the Accounts Payable Team during the transition to the new Procure to Pay system.
- Assist with special projects as needed.

**Note**
The successful applicant will be eligible for hybrid work (combination of in-person work on campus and remote work) as agreed by all parties based on operational requirements and university guidelines.

**Required Qualifications**
- Business/Office Administration program with at least three years’ related work experience with a strong customer service background (or equivalent combination of training and experience).
- Ability to prioritize and meet demands in a high volume, deadline-driven environment with strong attention to detail.
- Demonstrated professionalism, and excellent interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills.
