Sales Specialist

EcoPoxy Inc. is looking for a Sales Specialist who is excited to aggressively hunt down new leads and onboard new business. Our new Sales Specialist will be an exceptional communicator that is customer-focused and motivated by the opportunities and challenges of a high-growth organization.
The Sales Specialist will be a driven and self-motivated professional that finds new business prospects and markets, identifies and validates new opportunities, and is capable at reporting on progress. The Specialist will have the opportunity to build relationships that make a direct impact on the success of the organization. They should have a proactive mindset essential to succeeding in the client-hunting process, bringing insight in how to approach their target market and discover opportunities, rather than waiting for customers to come to them.
**Responsibilities**:
**Hunting**
- Build hunting strategies and tactics tailored to customer profiles and personas
- Identify key decision-makers and build comprehensive target lists
- Set up customer contacts, capturing all interactions and relevant information in a CRM platform (HubSpot)
- Generate, qualify, and process new leads and referrals through the sales funnel
- Support the development of sales target goals and build metrics for success
- Present weekly status reports, detailing calls, conversions, and new revenue
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of product value propositions, pricing, and promotions
- Collect and report market and competitor information
- Attend sales events to present and promote EcoPoxy products
**Account Management**:
- Maximize sales performance by establishing strong customer relationships and using your influence with accounts
- Maintain contact with customer accounts capturing all interactions and relevant information in a CRM platform (HubSpot)
- Provide customers with thoughtful and accurate technical knowledge, building product confidence with each account and their retail staff
- Act as a customer advocate, communicating and coordinating with other internal teams to ensure that all accounts have seamless order fulfillment
- Ensure customer complaints are effectively handed off to Customer Service
- Support new revenue initiatives across the organization as required
Other duties as assigned.
**Requirements**:
- 2 years or more of B2B sales experience
- Motivated by the prospect of hunting and closing new business
- Persistence and dedication to prospecting
- Ability to identify and influence the business owner or decision maker
- Highly organized with excellent time management skills
- Ability to convey technical product information to customers
- An excellent command of the English language; communication is essential for this position
- Competency using Microsoft Office and Adobe products
- Previous knowledge of CRM systems
- Experience using video and teleconferencing technologies
**Considered assets**:
- Professional sales training courses/diplomas/certificates
- Experience selling wood products, resins and epoxy systems and / or wood finishing products

**Compensation**:
, Permanent - Base Salary $60K to $70K dependent on experience
Plus, commissions, no cap - when you succeed, we succeed
