Thomas Skinner, the leading Western Canadian distributor of industrial metalworking, and machine shop supplies and equipment, is looking for a Territory Manager to work out of our Edmonton facility.

Founded in 1904, and with four (4) locations across Western Canada, Thomas Skinner represents a comprehensive and carefully curated range of products produced by Best in Class manufacturers of CNC (computerized numerical control) and conventional machine tools, cutting tools, precision measuring instruments, tool holders, abrasives, workholding equipment, band saws, cutting fluids and other machine shop supplies. These products are backed by Thomas Skinner ‘s team of dedicated, local, technical sales, service and operations professionals whose goal is to provide the highest level of aftersales support to enable its customers to be competitive and be a step ahead of today’s manufacturing challenges.

- Strong relationship building skills
- Detail oriented with strong analytical and mechanical abilities
- Positive optimistic outlook by nature. Ability to take direction
- You are outgoing and feel confident that you can earn new business
- Able to engage in market feedback and stay current on industry trends, and happenings
- Knowledge on the products that we represent preferred
- Machinist background preferred
- Clean driver’s license, presentable/reliable vehicle
- Current passport

Key Responsibilities
- Prospecting and developing new customer opportunities
- Grow and manage existing accounts by establishing primary contacts, building and maintaining relationships
- Drive sales, develop new business and sales channel opportunities throughout the assigned sales territory
- Proactively and efficiently work a particular marketing campaign and optimize its effectiveness
- Proactively reach out to all assigned accounts in our CRM on a regular basis to assess their current and future needs and to respond to them in a prompt, accurate manner
- Actively promote our vendor managed inventory / integrated supply program
- Keep records of customer interactions and transactions, recording details of inquiries, complaints, and comments, as well as actions taken in CRM.

Pay: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
