Construction Sales Representative

As our new Construction Sales Representative, you will have access to a customer database. Built-up over several years of marketing and sales efforts, you will have a positive starting point to hit the ground running. Supported by a digital marketing strategy that includes Google Ads, social media channels, a well-ranking website, and YouTube channel. You can expect a consistent feed of customers to prospect and develop.

**Key Responsibilities Include**:

- Re-establish, qualify, and maintain contact with small to medium-sized customers to increase sales
- Proactively generate sales leads and sales, while managing accounts through planned regular communication with customers
- Engage a regimented call campaign, update customer account information, and develop relationships to maintain accurate account profiles while increasing sales to the assigned base
- Determine customer requirements through needs analysis and provide solutions
- Maintain sales CRM system ensuring timely and accurate sales information is provided
- Attended tradeshows to promote product line and generate new leads

**What we’re looking for**:

- 3+ years’ experience in a sales environment
- Post-Secondary Education and a technical or business background is a plus
- Agriculture/Construction/mining equipment market knowledge and/or practical experience with equipment
- Knowledge of agriculture market is a big plus
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly organized with proven analytical aptitude, attention to detail and a sense of urgency
- Self-motivated, independent and a team player with strong initiative and mindset for continuous improvement
- Computer and systems literate with high proficiencies with Excel and Word
- Knowledge of CRM systems is a plus
- Natural curiosity and a desire to learn, grow and develop your skillset

The successful individual will have a strong grasp of current sales tactics and a history of closing sales.

Pay: $35,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
