**Health and Safety/Plan Grid Administrator**

**As a key member of our team, you will be expected to**:

- Update and track all safety documentation
- Book, update, and track training for Waterdon. Track and maintain training records for partner companies
- Sending out weekly reminders to PM’s, Supervisors, and Workers
- Team Lead for Plan Grid
- Assist with injury reporting and return to work process
- Prepare, update, and maintain Safety binders
- Conduct weekly site inspections and monthly inspections for McFarland yard and office
- Will be required to travel to sites
- Organize and schedule annual building fire extinguisher and emergency lighting inspections
- Prepare and send our weekly TIP OF THE WEEK based safety issues
- Track and inspect SRL’s as needed monthly. Track and send gas monitors for re-certification as needed monthly
- Assist, with planning and organizing of Safety BBQ
- Act as back up for Safety Officer and for sub-contractor documentation as needed
- Purchase, research, and track safety items as required
- Provide administrative and safety support to employees
- Research government grants that may be applicable
- Any other tasks as assigned by the Safety Officer

**What we are looking for**
- Post secondary education in Health and Safety or relevant field would be considered an asset
- A minimum of 3 to 5 years of progressive working experience completing administrative tasks
- Experience with WSIB administration would be an asset
- Able to work independently
- Ability to forge, grow and maintain a factual prospective when dealing with questions and inquiries
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a high-volume environment and meeting deadlines
- Ability to influence and experience working with conflict resolution would be an asset
- Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Office (Excel, Project, Power Point, Word, Outlook) and database software
- Must have and maintain a valid Ontario “G” license and have reliable transportation
- Must be able to obtain a Government Security Clearance
