**Job Description**:
This is a permanent, full time position, reporting to the Manager of Group Underwriting, Quebec Region.

**What you will do**
- Managing the pricing of assigned in-force caseload, including performing the annual renewal of rates and expenses, in-force quotes, marketings and approval of amendments;
- Working with the Field in order to respect our methodology and guidelines and responding to inquiries, plan changes and reporting needs;
- Preparing New Business Prospects;
- Communicating and justifying Underwriting’s position to the Field;
- Production of financial and service agreements on assigned caseload;
- Act as an Underwriting resource for various projects and departmental initiatives;

**What you will bring**
- Strong mathematical and analytical ability;
- Prior experience in the Group Insurance with knowledge of group insurance products will be considered an asset;
- Strong problem solving and decision-making skills;
- Able to make quick and informed decisions;
- Good communicator with sound negotiation skills;
- Strong organizational and time management skills; ability to prioritize multiple tasks and shifting priorities;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in French and in English;
- Very strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel with a good knowledge of Microsoft Word;
- Completion of GBA designation (within 2 years of attaining an Underwriter role);
