We are currently seeking a qualified individual to join our dedicated, forward-thinking group of Surety Underwriters in our Montreal office.

Junior Underwriter, Commercial Surety Insurance - Hybrid Teleworking

Montreal

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide underwriting support for new submissions and monitor existing business for all classes of commercial surety.
- Assist with the management of all programs including the development and assessment of new programs and the enhancement and maintenance of existing programs.
- Manage all online and manual programs for over-line authorizations, cancellations and endorsements.
- Participate with all business units to develop and enhance Trisura’s broker relationships.
- Collaborate with Trisura’s E-Commerce team on commercial surety-related initiatives
- Assist in bringing new products to market.
- Assist in the preparation and production of marketing materials.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience in surety, insurance, finance or commercial banking is a definite asset.
- Bilingual in French and English an asset
