**Salary**: $3,147.32 to $4,235.37 bi-weekly ($82,145 - $110,543 /year)

**Role Responsibilities**:
The Platform branch is looking for a Manager to lead the Identity and Access Management (IAM) sub-unit of the Platforms Branch. This role reports to the Director, Identity and Access Management.

The responsibilities for this role include:

- Providing input to the IAM strategy and roadmap.
- Identifying, understanding the impact, and planning for potential changes to services within the IAM Portfolio due to Ministry expectations, user expectations, legislative changes, technology maintenance or funding changes.
- Ensuring privacy, risk, and security policies and directives at the GoA are applied.
- Contributing to the definition of IAM architecture to support the business objectives and to ensure that there is a consistent use of technology and architecture.
- Collaborating with stakeholders, vendors, and cross-functional teams to ensure the successful development and rollout of changes and new features.
- Evaluating and advising on emerging technologies and trends as they arise in the IAM and digital space.
- Providing input to unit planning and reporting and adjusts the Sub-Unit's operational plans as needed to achieve branch and division priorities.
- Providing recommendations and advice to inform decision-making by senior and executive leaders and government officials to inform planning and decision-making.

To be successful in this position, you will:

- Have experience leading the development and operation of IAM solutions at scale.
- Have business and digital transformation experience.
- Have hands-on technical experience with a variety of technologies/standards including Mobile, Web, multifactor authentication, Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP), Security Assertion Markup Language (SAML), OpenID Connect (OIDC) and Open Source and Cloud.
- Have experience recruiting and leading technical people.
- Have a track record of iterative, user-centred, data-driven digital delivery.
- Have demonstrable expertise in Internet-era ways of working.
- Have strong written and oral communication skills.

**Qualifications**:
A university degree (Computer Science or a related field is preferred) supplemented by at least four (4) years of progressively responsible experience is required.

**Other requirements include**:

- Experience in IAM solutions and services
- Digital or Business Transformation Experience - demonstrated experience where common services and business capabilities were evaluated for transformational opportunities, tested, and transformed leading to substantially better outcomes for solutions that rely on these services and capabilities.
- Leadership experience - leading team members or multiple teams in a software development project/program or systems implementation project or comparable.
- Experience in the management of shared IT services.

**The following will be considered assets**:

- Agile certifications
- Security certifications (CISSP, CISM)
- Familiarity with Cloud and Agile software development lifecycle models
- Familiarity with the Pan-Canadian Trust Framework (PCTF)

**Equivalencies are**:

- A related two-year diploma and a minimum of six (6) years of related experience;
- A related one year certificate and a minimum of seven (7) years of related experience; or
- A minimum of eight (8) years of related experience.

7.25 hours daily; 36.25 hours weekly, Monday to Friday
