**Job Summary**:
The Purchasing Coordinator will support the purchasing team in a variety of areas relating to the planning, procurement, storage, control, and distribution of materials and products according to company needs and customer requirements. This is a great opportunity for an individual with no experience to train in the field of purchasing.

**Duties/Responsibilities**:

- Manage and prioritize purchase requests in a timely and efficient manner.
- Receive materials, perform inspection, and verify accuracy of received items.
- Ensure material is delivered accurately, where and when required.
- Distribute material in the plant, maintain and organize the storage room as required.
- Create and process purchase orders.
- Communicate updates to vendors and production team.
- Perform cycle counts.
- Input and maintain data in EPR system.
- Work with AP to resolve any discrepancies between the PO and vendor invoice.
- Follow up on deliveries and expedite materials as required.

**Required Skills/Abilities**:

- Excellent organizational and planning skills. Focused
- strong attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Trained or willing to be trained in forklift operations.
- Strong computer skills.
- Desire to enter the purchasing industry.
