**_Catholic Social Services is currently recruiting for a full time (37.5 hours/week) Program Assistant in our Red Deer Immigration and Settlement office._**

**_This is a contact position that ends March 31, 2024._**

**Job Summary**:
As a Program Assistant, your understanding of the needs of newcomers is very important as you will be responsible in providing contact information, resources and general information to newcomers. You will be responsible for filing, documentation, making phone calls, taking meeting minutes, filling forms, and data input. Your attention to detail will assist you in compiling and preparing statistical reports. Your team building skills will assist you in organizing and participating in various meetings.

**Education and Qualifications**:

- Post-secondary education related to office administration
- 3 - 5 years’ experience working in an administrative role
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Experience working with newcomers to Canada is considered an asset
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
- Detail oriented and organized
- Criminal Record Check from local RCMP or City Police
- Child Intervention Record Check
