Accounting and Payroll Administrator

**Overview**
**Duties**
- Process bi-weekly payroll or monthly for all employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Maintain accurate employee records, including new hires, terminations, and changes in employment status.
- Perform account reconciliation to ensure payroll accounts are balanced and discrepancies are resolved promptly.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies regarding payroll practices.
- Utilize Ceridian payroll software to manage payroll functions effectively.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll issues or discrepancies in a professional manner.
- Prepare necessary reports for management and regulatory agencies as required.
- Maintain accurate records for accounts receivable and accounts payable using Sage Simply accounting software.
- Facilitate benefits for all eligible employees and maintain all benefit records as required.
**Experience**
- Proven experience as a Payroll Administrator or similar role is preferred.
- Familiarity with Ceridian payroll software and Sage Simply Accounting software.
- Strong understanding of account reconciliation processes and human resources functions related to payroll.
- Excellent organizational skills and strong work ethic with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with employees at all levels.
