The Executive Assistant position has primary responsibility for providing day-to-day administrative support to a member of the Senior Leadership team of MaKami College. The position provides a wide variety of administrative support. It is expected that the incumbent is well organized and possesses excellent time management.

**Major Accountabilities/Responsibilities **(
_Including but not limited to the following):_
- Carrying out administrative duties such as filing, typing, copying, faxing, scanning, etc.
- Maintaining computer and manual filling systems
- Providing information to colleagues and students, while handling sensitive information in a confidential manner
- Managing appointments and travel arrangements
- Acting as a liaison and first point of contact with individuals and organizations
- Various miscellaneous tasks such as assisting with the organizing and operations of the Edmonton Campus

**Educational & Experience**
- A degree/diploma in Business Administration or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience as an Executive Assistant, or similar role
- Knowledge of office administration procedures
- Previous event planning experience is an asset

**Skills & Competencies**
- High proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite of products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Ability to manage multiple and change priorities at once
- High attention to detail
- Strong organization and planning skills
- Excellent telephone etiquette
- Ability to build strong relationships internally
- Ability to travel both national and International
- Work efficiently and with integrity under pressure
