Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our team at Wild Wing. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and consistency of our menu items. If you have a passion for food and enjoy working in a fast-paced kitchen environment, we would love to hear from you.
**Duties**:
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and guidelines provided
- Follow proper food handling and safety procedures to maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen
- Assist with meal preparation, including chopping vegetables, marinating meats, and preparing sauces
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and efficient service
- Maintain inventory of food supplies and notify management when items need to be restocked
- Adhere to portion control guidelines to minimize waste and ensure consistent plate presentation
- Clean and maintain kitchen equipment, utensils, and workstations
**Skills**:
- Previous experience working in a kitchen or restaurant setting preferred
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Food handling certification is required
