- The Assistant Director: Marketing Communications at LCS is a key contributor to our Marketing Communications team, responsible for creating compelling narratives that elevate the school's brand and foster engagement among current and prospective families, students, alumni, and donors. This position is integral to our marketing and communications efforts, supporting student recruitment, community engagement, and fundraising initiatives.**Key Responsibilities**:
- Develop written and visual content to effectively communicate Lakefield College School's mission, values, and unique value proposition. This includes:

-marketing copy and editorial that resonates with diverse audiences;
-weekly Parent Announcements, eNews stories, and social posts on school life;
-periodic newsletters; and
-consistent and targeted media relations.
Support the Marketing Communications, Admissions, Program, and Foundation Teams by managing multiple communications projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Manage social media accounts to increase engagement
Draft and implement organic content marketing calendars to align with strategic goals
Capture and facilitate the acquisition and curation of photo/video content and stories
Manage live streaming and event capture for major school events to enhance digital presence.
- Work closely with the Assistant Head:Marketing Communications to ensure all written and creative assets are planned and delivered in a timely and professional manner, adhering to established LCS brand standards.

**What You Bring To The Team**:
- Education in Communications, Marketing Communications, Journalism or a related field, with 5-7 years of relevant experience, and a strong portfolio showcasing written and visual content
A love of storytelling with excellent writing, editing and visual communication skills.
Proven experience with social media management, photography, and proficiency in Canva and/or Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign) and other relevant platforms
Strong understanding of digital and social media best practices and innovation.
High level of technical confidence with digital technology and a willingness to learn new tools.
Strong interpersonal skills and a creative and energetic approach to building staff, student and community participation in the development of stories.

**Compensation**:

- Salary range: $34.70 - $45.40 hourly ($1,250 - $1,635 weekly)
