With 145 years of outdoor education experience, LCS Summer Academy provides fun and challenging programs for campers ages 4 to 18. Each program is full of opportunities to learn in and through the outdoors on our 315-acre waterfront campus. **Position Overview**:
Reporting to the Director, LCS Summer Academy & Ancillary Programs, the Junior Day Camp - Camp Coordinator will be at the heart of our Junior Day Camps, leading and delivering an unforgettable adventure for our campers. This role is all about bringing the Junior Day Camp program to life—inspiring excitement, fostering learning, and creating cherished memories. Collaborating closely with camp leadership, coordinators, activity leads, and counselors, you'll ensure seamless operations while infusing every moment with energy and excitement. From planning daily activities to engaging families, you'll be the driving force behind a summer filled with laughter and growth.

**Responsibilities**:

- Liaise with the Director, Summer Academy to ensure program alignment with overall vision and goals.
- Oversee day-to-day administrative tasks, including communication with families, record-keeping, and managing camper attendance.
- Maintain regular communication with camp staff to disseminate important information and updates.
- Conduct daily debriefs, evaluations, and ongoing support to staff.
- Develop and implement the daily program for the Junior Day Camp, ensuring a diverse range of activities.
- Collaborate with technical experts to coordinate specialized activities.
- Maintain regular communication with families, providing information about the camp program and special events.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to write weekly updates and social media content.
- Contribute to post-summer program evaluation and planning.

**Qualifications**:

- Completed undergrad degree or diploma
- Previous experience in designing and delivering programs for children aged 4-10 is required.
- Demonstrated leadership, innovation, strong organizational and communication skills, and experience in program development.
- CPR/First Aid certification is mandatory; additional certifications such as NLS or ORCKA Flatwater Basic Instructor are assets.
