**Salary negotiable based on experience**

**Key Responsibilities**:
Complete administrative tasks including chart preparation, booking appointments, and managing phone lines

Provide adminsitrative support as needed working with the Family Practice Admin Team

Process patient referrals and follow up appointments in a timely manner

Provide face to face patient support in our outpatient clinics

Support nursing staff and physicians with triaging of patient appointments based on patients' needs

Support clinic flow by coordinating on-site and virtual appointments

Participate in Quality Improvement Initiatives

Experience with front-line/patient facing health care clinic administrative work is essential

**The Requirements**:
Medical office experience is essential

Knowledge of Electronic Medical Records such as Telus Practice Solutions and Quadramed

Excellent written, verbal and electronic communication skills

Proficient in MS Office Suite and an aptitude for adapting to new software and IT systems

Sound knowledge of medical terminology

Exceptional patient service skills

Experience working with multi-disciplinary teams

Ability to manage patient confidentiality at all times

**Job Types**: Part-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months
Part-time hours: 22.5 per week

**Salary**: $20.51-$22.75 per hour
