Toronto, Canada HACCP Coordinator Full time

6:30am to 3:30pm

A major food manufacturing company in South Etobicoke seeking HACCP Coordinator to maintain, implement and access the HACCP, SQF policies and procedures.

HACCP

**Primary Duties & Responsibilities**

Responsible for document control

Oversee change control procedure (documents and SOP’s)

Review and maintain existing standard operating procedures (SOP’s) and records to ensure that they actually reflect current conditions

Engage in plant audits and CFIA inspection

Oversee day to day activities with CFIA

Conduct plant audits monthly and quarterly

Assist with third party audits

Perform internal audits, as necessary

Deviations and corrective action plans

Oversee deviation trending

Assist with deviations effectiveness checks

Oversee writing and implementing of corrective actions requests issued from CFIA inspections and Third Party Audits

File completed records and ensure they are accessible for periodic review

Conduct HACCP/SQF reassessments

Conduct validation studies as required

To take initiative and work to prevent process or product failures by working together with operations to drive continuous improvement of product quality through assisting in the development of the following:
Quality plans

Process controls

Quality training procedures and documents

HACCP/SQF Systems

To be dedicated to providing the highest quality products available in the industry

Other duties as assigned

Ability to work in fast paced, task oriented environment and work closely with all departments.

Ambient, cooler and Freezer

Ability to left 20kg
- Completion of a HACCP Certification Training Course
- Certification as a Preventive Controls Qualified Individual (PCQI) an asset

Previous Food Manufacturing experience

Strong written and oral skills

Ability to work independently and apart of a team

5 years food industry experience

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $50,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
