Reporting to the Accounts Payable Manager, the Accounts Payable Representative undertakes the following

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Capture and validate invoice header information in Readsoft
- Reconcile vendor account statements
- Process and distribute incoming and outgoing mail
- Process, code and allocate vendor invoices
- Support month-end accruals and related account reconciliations to ensure the accuracy of financial records
- File, scan, and maintain accurate records of AP-related documents to ensure efficient record-keeping and easy retrieval of documents
- Prepare reports as required

**You bring the following QUALIFICATIONS**:
**Required**:

- 1-2 years of proven hands-on experience working in a high volume accounts payable environment or similar related field
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel
- Proven ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in preparing and entering information
- Proven ability to work independently while also being able to collaborate effectively in a team environment
- Effective verbal and listening communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent work ethic and a proven willingness to learn and adapt
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage deadlines
- Legally elegible to work in Canada

**Preferred**:

- Proven post-secondary education in accounting, finance, or related field
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles
- Proven experience with office administration and record-keeping
- Familiarity with Google Mail and Google Docs
- Proven experience with Microsoft Dynamics or other accounting software is an asset
