**Dealer Services Representative**
The Dealer Services Representative is accountable to continue strengthening relationships (e.g. IIROC, MFDA) with our dealer partners and other teams that support the distribution of BMO’s investment products. This is primarily done by maintaining a client focused approach in the effective handling of administrative and operational dealer partner inquiries and/or issues.
- Provides support to all in-scope business groups and dealers by executing work in a timely, accurate and efficient manner.
- Builds effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Accurately executes dealer and advisor record updates
- Assists in the set up of new funds and cooperates in the running, review, and delivery of daily reports
- Reviews, investigates, and resolves trade rejects or other trade related issues.
- Conducts dealer follow ups related to the resolution of an issue/not in good order item and/or the recovery of losses
- Keeps up to date with updates to products, services, policies, and procedures
- Assists in ensuring that business partners are regularly updated on operational issues.
- Participates in various projects as needed, including the tracking of metrics and milestones.
- Broader work or accountabilities may be assigned as needed.
**Qualifications**:
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience and post-secondary degree in related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good
- Verbal & written communication skills - Excellent
- Analytical and problem-solving skills - In-depth.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet established deadlines.
- Strong time management skills.
- Knowledge of applicable risk and regulatory requirements and the impact on the business/group.
- Fundserv knowledge - An asset
