POSITION FUNCTION

The Patient Engagement Coordinator / Community Engagement Coordinator (PEC/CEC) is responsible for all research related recruitment initiatives in order to recruit high quality patients in accordance with Centricity Research recruitment guidelines. The Patient Engagement Coordinator / Community Engagement Coordinator will demonstrate knowledge of protocols including inclusion/exclusion criteria and be familiar with the medications and medical diseases that coincide with research conducted at Centricity Research. The PEC/MCC is also responsible for building strong relationships with community partners

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Work on enrollment and retention initiatives with Community Engagement Manager & Recruitment Team Lead
- Problem solve and create contingency plans to optimize enrollment via recruitment initiatives
- Obtain and maintain computerized database of all ad callers
- Accurately complete recruitment tracking log and all applicable clinical trial management systems
- Provide study metrics on a regular basis and provide ongoing feedback regarding outcome of recruitment initiatives
- Attend community lectures, health fairs or events to promote Centricity Research
- Create and maintain relationships with community partners
- Promote clinical trials in the community through outreach events
- Assist the Community Engagement Manager, Research Operations and/or Investigators with any other tasks as required

Conducting Memory Assessments/ Visits
- Ensure the safety and welfare of participants
- Schedule and complete intake of memory clinic participants
- Administer the memory testing with participants
- Provide the participant with their score
- Provide some interpretation of the score to participant and support as applicable
- Inform participant of research opportunities as applicable
- Perform administrative tasks associated with the Memory Clinic, including preparing files, faxing, and compiling notes
- Travel between regional locations and/or to off-site events may be required
- Occasional travel for mobile clinics or community outreach to help build memory clinic database
- Possible administration of study scale/cognitive rating
- Conduct and document the study scales as per protocol, GCP, and WPs/SOPs
- Timely and accurate completion of source, data, CRFs, queries and CTMS, as required for study scales

General
- Abide by GCP, WPs/SOPs, company guidelines, and local healthcare privacy regulations
- Maintain professional relationships with participants, coworkers, and physicians
- Attend site and company meetings
- Gather, enter, and/or update data to maintain company records and databases as directed
- Assist Management with any other tasks as required

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

Minimum:

- 2 years of experience in Marketing, Sales, or Event Planning
- Basic knowledge of medical conditions and terminology

Preferred:

- Experience in Marketing and/or sales/recruitment
- Call center experience
