**WSP** is currently seeking a Digital Marketing Specialist - social media to join its Canadian Marketing and Communications team for a 12 months contract based in based in Montreal.**:

**The Opportunity**:
**A day in the life**:

- Develop, implement and manage our social media strategy
- Manages and oversees social media content and calendar
- Collaborates with internal stakeholders on the development of engaging content for social media platforms
- Participates in marketing concept development with members of the Marketing team, the Medias & Public Affairs and Creative teams.
- Documents all processes and creates digital marketing campaign plans.
- Advise on best practices and strategies to maximize social media campaigns
- Runs paid online media marketing campaigns
- Manages our Social Media Management platform (Sprout), including campaign tagging, listening, reporting and calendaring
- Support as needed WSP employee advocacy activities and initiatives
- Monitors social media channels for industry trends
- Works with the WSP Global Social Media team to develop resource material for internal stakeholders

**What you'll bring to WSP...**
- Minimum of five years of relevant work experience in corporate communications and in a business/professional services environment, preferably in a national, multi-site company.
- Bachelor's degree in journalism, marketing, or communications.
- Full proficiency in English and French
- Demonstrated experience using data and KPI metrics to monitor and measure performance, measure effectiveness and plan ongoing improvements to campaigns
- Proficiency in social media tools and digital platforms
- Proficient knowledge of content publishing and engagement platforms
- Passion for social media with a desire to stay informed on emerging trends
- Proven track record of planning and managing media campaigns and clearly communicating progress and results
- Strong understanding social media tools, platforms, and best practices
- Excellent knowledge of social media KPIs and understanding of SEO and web traffic metrics
- Ability to work independently and the confidence to make recommendations
- Capability to build and maintain strong internal relationships and collaborate seamlessly across all levels of a national organization.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize, multi-task and effectively deliver a variety of concurrent projects in a demanding
