Adecco Canada is seeking a highly skilled Bilingual Human Resources Generalist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and implement comprehensive HR strategies to support business objectives;
  2. Maintain in-depth knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and best practices;
  3. Align HR practices with organizational goals and objectives;
  4. Provide expert guidance on employee relations matters, including conflict resolution and disciplinary actions;
  5. Conduct thorough investigations and recommend actions for performance and disciplinary issues;
  6. Participate in grievance resolution and collective bargaining processes;
  7. Design and deliver engaging new employee orientation sessions;
  8. Promote awareness and understanding of HR policies and practices among employees;
  9. Assess training needs and collaborate with stakeholders to develop training plans;
  10. Monitor and report on training activities and their impact on business outcomes;
  11. Support management and staff in performance appraisal processes, providing coaching and development recommendations;
Requirements:
  1. Must possess a strong foundation in HR principles, acquired through post-secondary education or equivalent experience;
  2. Must have a minimum of 3+ years of HR experience, with a proven track record of success;
  3. Must have expertise in staffing, classification, employee relations, or organizational development;
  4. Must have a deep understanding of HR laws and practices, including collective agreements;
  5. Strong computer skills and proficiency in office software, including HR systems and tools;
  6. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on delivering results;
  7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of initiative and motivation;
  8. Strong leadership and sound judgment, with a focus on making informed decisions;
  9. Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with employees at all levels;
  10. Discretion and tact in handling confidential information, with a high level of professionalism;
  11. Bilingual proficiency in French and English (spoken and written), with the ability to communicate effectively with employees and stakeholders;
