**The Opportunity**:
**A Day in the Life (What you will do here)**:
- Schedule patient appointments efficiently and accurately
- Manage patient records and ensure compliance with confidentiality regulations (HIPAA, GDPR, etc.)
- Coordinate with medical staff to ensure smooth patient flow and optimal clinic operation
- Handle insurance claims and billing processes
- Oversee inventory management for supplies and equipment
- Assist in recruiting, training, and supervising administrative staff
- Maintain a clean and organized office environment
- Address patient inquiries and concerns with professionalism and empathy
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient care delivery
- Implement and enforce office policies and procedures
**What you need to ensure you are set up for success**:
- Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration or related field preferred
- 3-5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a medical setting
- Proficiency in medical billing software and electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and privacy
- Knowledge of ophthalmic terminology and procedures (ophthalmology experience considered an asset)
