1 - Permanent Position

**CUPE Local 4400, Unit C - Grade G (12 Month)**

**$23.00 per hour

- Reporting to Coordinator, Fleet Management, the Clerk, Fleet Management will create work orders, _
- notifications, purchase requisitions, purchase orders, track fleet Preventive Maintenance (PM) plan, _
- order materials and other clerical tasks. _

**Summary of Duties**:
Create notification and work orders for scheduled and emergency work including updating of

notifications;
Create purchase orders, purchase requisitions and goods receipts for parts and services for fleet

repairs;
Contact vendors for price information and parts availability;
Order parts and supplies for fleet repairs;
Maintain and update fleet records on preventative maintenance schedules, equipment location,

driver information, etc;
Complete Goods Issues and receipt for items tracked through SAP (MM);
Schedule preventative maintenance, emission testing, rust proofing and regulatory inspections for

TDSB vehicles with vehicle drivers etc;
Run reports as required (e.g., mileage, usage and productivity, equipment);
Submit timesheets & weekly summary of attendance for staff;
Order and maintain records of fuel keys/fobs from City of Toronto including new and replacement

keys/fobs;
Renew, replace and return license plates and ownership forms to the Ministry of Transportation;
Sort & distribute insurance slips & license plate stickers;
File completed work orders & collision reports;
Maintain inventory and files;
Prepare spreadsheet of journal entries for fuel consumption, bulk fluids, p-card purchases etc;
Update and maintain Driver’s Abstract database;
Greet and assist visitors to garage; and
Other duties as assigned

**Qualifications**:
Secondary school diploma with one year of related clerical experience, or an equivalent

combination of education and experience;
Proficiency and expertise in the use of computer technology (e.g., spreadsheet, database, word

processing, SAP PM);
Ability to communicate effectively with a customer service focus;
Good organizational and time management skills;
Understanding and working knowledge of related TDSB policies and procedures; and
Knowledge of general office procedures (e.g., filing, record keeping etc).

**Hours**: 35 hours per week

**Work Year**:12 months
