As the FP&A Manager, you will be reporting to the FP&A Director and be responsible for partnering directly with Chief Operating Officer and various Ops VPs to develop the long-term planning strategy and execute strategic initiatives designed to generate new product offerings, increase profitability or efficiency, improve working capital and cashflow, mitigate risks to operating expense and margin, expand data driven modeling, or otherwise drive value within the Operations function. This role is in office T,W,TH weekly in our Toronto ON office.
A Day in the Life- Develop, maintain, produce, and present monthly Management Operating Review- Lead the month end closing process on behalf of the Operations function- Lead the development of Power BI dashboards used by FP&A and Ops teams- Juggle constant stream of ad-hoc requests aimed at further driving value within Ops- Employ high level thought regarding the development of processes and implementation- Drive internal process changes with leaders and Accounting to improve forecast predictability- Leverage technology to increase speed and accuracy of reporting and analysis
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor’s in Finance/Accounting (CPA/MBA preferred but not required)- 7 years of analytical/reporting/finance experience- Management experience preferred- Expert user of MS Office (Excel, Power Query), experience with OneStream/Alteryx beneficial- Must have experience with SQL and building Power BI dashboards from ground up- Self-starter who can independently troubleshoot, problem solve, and improve the status quo- Strong oral and written communication skills, including experience presenting to senior-level management, creating dynamic presentations, and ability to work cross-functionally
