**Role**
Reporting to the Deputy Minister, you will provide vision and strategic leadership to eight branches and business units (Pension Policy, Pension Regulation, Insurance Policy, Insurance Regulation and Market Conduct, Financial Institutions Regulation, Financial Institutions Policy, Financial Services Concierge, and the Automobile Insurance Rate Board). You will also deliver important oversight of the department’s Centralized Administrative Services. Additionally, you will provide guidance to the management teams who monitor and oversee the functioning of diverse financial institutions, insurance companies and pension plans across the province.

You will lead complex initiatives and the development of policy options and strategies that balance government priorities with industry interests. Your executive leadership experience will be critical to your ability to successfully develop and present progressive solutions to complex regulatory and policy challenges. Your strategic focus and technical knowledge will be foundational as you advise elected officials and senior government officials on complex issues to inform legislative and policy decisions.

**Qualifications**
Your background includes extensive related executive management experience, and a solid understanding of the pension, insurance and/or financial institution sectors. Well developed strategic thinking skills and an ability to take a broad scale, long-term view of challenges and opportunities will be needed. Proven success leading diverse teams in the development, implementation and negotiation of complex policies, regulations and projects will be critical to this role. A demonstrated ability to develop positive and effective stakeholder relationships be beneficial. A graduate degree is preferred.

**Salary**
$6,035.80 - $7,921.30 bi-weekly ($157,534 - $206,745 yearly)
