Financial Sector Regulation and Policy (FSRP) provides policy and regulatory support and analysis on financial institutions, insurance and pensions. As part of its function, the division is responsible for ensuring legislation, regulation and policy meets current and emerging needs.

**Role Responsibilities**:

- The Ministry of Treasury Board and Finance (TBF) is seeking two experienced professionals to join our Financial Sector Regulation and Policy (FSRP) division in the roles of Manager, Division Operations and Executive Advisor. These positions are critical to the strategic and operational success of our division.
- **Manager, Division Operations**

Role Overview
- Reporting to the Assistant Deputy Minister (ADM), the Manager, Division Operations provides leadership for the division's business planning, budgeting, and administrative functions.
- Key Responsibilities- Operational and Business Management: Lead the division’s budgeting and business planning processes, oversee the Centralized Administrative Service (CAS), and manage FOIP requests.
- ADM Support: Provide operational support and recommendations, coordinate implementation of ADM decisions, and assist in developing the division's operations plans.
- Executive Director/Branch Support: Facilitate actions and resolutions, coordinate human resource management, and review division processes for improvements.
- Communications Management: Facilitate and review the flow of information within the division, oversee Action Requests (ARs), and ensure timely responses.
- Leadership and Employee Development: Supervise ADMO executive support staff and support their professional development.

**Executive Advisor**

Role Overview
- Reporting to the Assistant Deputy Minister (ADM), the Executive Advisor focuses on strategic and policy management, ensuring alignment of division initiatives with departmental goals.
- Key Responsibilities- Strategic and Policy Management: Manage division-wide policies and strategies, conduct environmental scanning, and coordinate stakeholder consultations.
- ADM Support: Provide strategic recommendations, prepare briefings and presentation materials, and act as a primary contact in the ADM's absence.
- Special Projects and Priority Policy Files: Support project teams, schedule consultations, and coordinate with communication teams.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication and issue resolution.
- Leadership and Employee Development: Supervise ADMO executive support staff and support their professional development.

**Drive for Results**: This role must leverage the expertise of executive managers across the division and advise the ADM on how the division is meeting its strategic direction. While this role is not directly responsible for policy files, it is responsible for advising the ADM on progress in meeting the division mandate and expectations of relevant stakeholder
