**INTEGRATOR/COO CANDIDATE PROFILE**

Reporting to the Visionary (President), the Integrator/Chief Operating Officer (COO) is a collaborative member of the Leadership Team and is accountable for providing leadership, decision making and operational direction, consistent with the organization’s strategic goals and managing the execution of those goals to deliver desired outcomes. This includes the overall planning, development, delivery and effectiveness of the day-to-day manufacturing and field operations.

In addition, the Integrator/COO will be an experienced people leader who has the presence to promote trust and maintain a positive work culture.

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Oversee all aspects of operations, manufacturing, product development, quality, and procurement with a focus on fostering a high-quality end product.
- Manage all ongoing operational processes and employees that emphasizes CMB’s commitment to quality and customer service.
- Develop short-term and long-term goals with overall corporate objectives.
- Help align the organization to CMB’s defined strategic and operational objectives by setting goals and objectives.
- Work closely with manufacturing leaders across the business to understand capacity planning, production issues and opportunities.
- Develop and implement operational efficiencies, stronger financial controls, resourcing strategies, and best practices that set the business for growth.
- Work closely with sales to understand customer requirements, purchase agreements, and customer service feedback for ongoing improvement.
- Assist the organization in maintaining positive core values.
- Work closely with the leadership team(s) to understand the cost and implications of quality control and production issues/opportunities while developing a plan to address these on an ongoing basis.
- Coach and mentor direct reports on management and leadership best practices
- Occasional travel will be required.

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- A minimum of 7-10 years in a progressive operations management role, ideally in a manufacturing environment.
- A proven successful track record helping to structure manufacturing businesses to maintain market position.
- Significant manufacturing, financial and operations experience, with demonstrated success in driving optimization and best practices.
- Experience leading an organization while building on its unique core values.
- Exposure to manufacturing tools/processes/methods such as Lean and Six Sigma
- Experience holding direct accountability for manufacturing operations, facilities, and teams.
- Experience building and overseeing multi-site teams.
- Strong business acumen, analytical, and financial skills. Experience with job costing accounting methods.
- Superior communication skills with the ability to communicate ideas and interact with customers.
- Demonstrated analytical abilities and the capability to relay new business concepts to a broad range of stakeholders.
- Knowledge of the Entrepreneurial Operating System a strong asset.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, manufacturing, business, or related field; MBA preferred.
