Astellas Pharma Canada (APCA) is currently searching for a **Regional Learning Program Liaison, Women’s Health** reporting to **National Sales Lead, Canada.**
**Purpose and Scope**:
The Women’s Health Regional Learning Program Liaison:
Is the primary Astellas liaison with key regional education stakeholders to support health care professional (HCP) practice improvement to optimize patient care in menopause.
Works in partnership with the Astellas team to develop and execute a regional learning strategy and tactical plan, aligned with the identified unmet medical needs in menopause management and aligned to strategic priorities and the national education plan.
**Essential Job Responsibilities**:
Engage with regional professional associations/conference providers and HCPs to gather feedback and insights on regional learning needs to develop a customer centric Astellas Learning Strategy Plan in menopause care.
Partner with Astellas’ Learning Programs Manager and field staff to develop and execute on the Learning Strategy Plan in each key region/province.
Enable the development of programs to address the unmet need while ensuring confirmation and documentation of unmet learning needs.
Collaborate with Thought Leaders, Faculty, and Speakers to advance learning content and provide unbiased learning opportunities that meet HCP needs in both official languages.
Partner with Medical/Medical Science Liaisons to ensure speaker needs are addressed.
Partner with the field based Therapeutic Specialists to execute impactful learning programs.
Responsible for working with Operational Excellence to ensure a streamlined and sound process for the implementation of Learning Activities (i.e., OLAs).
Lead the development and ongoing execution of strategic learning plans from strategic concept through implementation, execution, design, and deployment including budget and vendor management, leveraging their scientific and clinical therapeutic area knowledge and business acumen.
Collaborate with Brand team(s) to understand commercial strategy, Medical to incorporate the latest scientific data, Sales for logístical implementation of educational solutions and Compliance to ensure the highest ethical standards ensuring alignment with adult learning principles.
Provide an excellent learning experience that triggers practice change to optimize patient care.
Accountable to delivering performance targets based on identified learning objectives.
Analyze metrics, industry trends and competitive programs to obtain insights to anticipate learning needs, continuously improve existing programs, and make recommendations for future learning programs.
Drive a culture of cross functional collaboration to ensure HCP learning needs are met and integrated into regional planning.
Accountable for maintaining a thorough understanding and adherence to all applicable code, policies and regulations (i.e. Innovation Medicines Canada Code of Ethical Practices, code of conduct, etc.). Upholds a commitment to compliance and operates with integrity within all business activities.
