**About the Team**

The People and Culture Generalist will be based at the company’s manufacturing plant facility and play a vital role in people operations at the plant location.

**About the Role**

You will have the opportunity to support the sustainment of a high-performance culture that emphasizes employee engagement, development, quality, safety, and compliance of our people practices and policies. We will lean on you to l execute and support around the employee life cycle, such as recruitment, onboarding, employee support and relations, training, performance development and management, HRIS, and you will help enable our people managers to powerfully lead their people. You will partner closely with our corporate People, Culture & Community team for practice and general alignment, needs surrounding the Center of Excellence, and you will have dotted line reporting relationship to our Manager, People Operations.

As our Design Manager, your job will be to coordinate people and processes to ensure that our projects are delivered on time and produce the desired results. You will be the go-to person for everything involving a project’s organization and timeline.

Design Managers will work with Project Managers to support and manage the technical aspects of the project. The Design Manager will be the main point of communication between the client and Design Team.

**What You will Do**
- Execute, support and coordinate bodies of work around the employee life cycle within our manufacturing facility, including recruitment, onboarding, employee support and relations, training, performance development and management, engagement, compensation and benefits, and HRIS
- Facilitate the onboarding of new hires and transitions of job changes, including the coordination of training
- Determine, in partnership with the Manager, People Operations, what requires investigation versus consultation on employment relation matters and support investigation practices standard with our people practices and legal requirements
- Responsible for maintaining accurate employment records, supporting the facilitation of performance management conversation logs, and other employee life cycle documents
- Collaborate with the senior production leadership team and corporate PCC team to execute our people strategy and help empower accountability for people operations responsibilities of our people leaders
- In partnership with corporate P&C teams, support the develop, implement, and coordination plant programs that effectively support and enable our people
- Foster an environment that motivates and develops a diverse team to fully use its capabilities in achieving desired results

**Problem Solving and Decision Making**
- Applies company guidelines, personal judgement, and technical experience to take action proactively
- Closely partners with Manager, People Operations for more complex situations or escalations, including ones that require corporate visibility
- Manage employee and stakeholder relationships effectively and recommend avenues for action in a thoughtful and effective manner.

**Knowledge and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent on the job learned experience with a proven track record managing People and Culture operations, including recruitment, onboarding, employee support and relations, performance development and management, engagement, compensation and benefits, and HRIS
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain a healthy and safe working environment where al
