Position Summary

HUB International continues to grow and we are looking for an Associate Consultant to provide effective support to assigned clients in our National Accounts Team (NAT) Employee Benefits Consulting Practice. This position can be based anywhere in Canada.
This role involves full life cycle review and analysis of employee benefit plans. This is a fast-paced role and involves strong teamwork, analytical skills and service excellence. The National Accounts Team works with large organizations across Canada.
**Responsibilities**:
Ensuring delivery of high-quality work that meets client needs, including:
Analyzing financial and claims information relating to benefits plans, annual renewals and proposals
Managing multiple assignments and providing strong analytical and technical support to our clients
Evaluating the cost and design competitiveness of client benefit plans
Building and maintaining excellent relations with internal colleagues and external providers/clients
Identifying problems and implementing proactive and creative solutions
Acting as a mentor to team members, supporting their growth and development
Contributing to internal training sessions to build knowledge of industry topics and trends
Participating in special projects as required
Acting as a resource to the Employee Benefits Practice
Attending and participating in client meetings
**Qualifications and Experience**:
Succeeding as an Associate Consultant will require the following core qualifications and skills:
Post-Secondary Education in the areas of mathematics, statistics, and/or actuarial studies
Knowledge of Canadian benefits industry and prior experience (3+ years) in consulting, underwriting and/or insurance
Strong mathematical analytical skills, high attention to detail and accuracy
**Advanced proficiency with MS Office**: Excel (especially), PowerPoint, Word, Outlook
Excellent collaboration, project management and communication skills
Experience working in a high-paced, growth environment
