Fred's Restaurant in Ambleside is looking for individuals who are passionate about food

Who is Frederico? Fred's is a Cali-inspired menu rooted in traditional Italian Cuisine. An elevated room with a relaxed feel, but with a fast paced kitchen service. We pride ourselves in using thoughtful local ingredients and changing our menu seasonally. Serving daily fresh made pasta, hand stretched hearth fired pizza, proteins and vegetables.

We are currently looking for individuals with an eagerness to learn and willingness to be a part of a tight knit team where we can all learn and grow together. We are steps away from Ambleside Beach, so come cook with a fabulous view

Our team has come from notable restaurants; names like Osteria Savio Volpe, Miku, Chambar, Luigi & Sons. Join us to rediscover food, spark creativity and grow.

We are currently looking for the following role**:

- Garde Manger Cook (Cold/Antipasti Station) - PM (Full-time)**

**Must be available to work Wednesday-Sunday. (Closed Monday's & Tuesday's)**
- **You Have**:_
- Previous experience working in a similar role
- A positive attitude
- A desire to learn
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently while multitasking and under pressure
- Attention to detail
- Knife skills (also having your own knives is ideal)
- *Evening and weekend availability is required*

**Experience with Italian Cuisine is a huge asset**

**Salary**: $20.00-$22.00 per hour

**Experience**:

- Cooking: 2 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Food Safe, SafeCheck, Food Handler or equivalent (preferred)
