Reporting to the Property Services Manager we are seeking an enthusiastic administrative support clerk to work with us in the delivery of exceptional property management services.

**1. PURPOSE OF THE JOB**:
**2. KEY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Provide unit showings to applicants.
- Prepare appropriate lease documents.
- Provide new tenants with move-in and orientation information,
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including other LMCH staff, shelter, and social services staff.
- Set-up and maintain accurate tenant files in Yardi.
- Maintain monthly statistical reports regarding vacancy management.
- Perform rent calculations.
- Monitor tenant account information to verify that rent calculations and rent charges are accurate, complete, rent adjustments and/or refunds as necessary.
- Report, track, and pursue arrears collections including repayment agreements.
- Prepare legal documents including termination notices, Certificates of Services, etc.
- Maintain team/departmental calendars, and a bring-forward system for files.
- Complete annual lease renewals
- Address telephone, website, and counter inquiries from tenants regarding Property Services issues.
- Coordinate and process administrative documents such as notices of intent to enter, general notices, compliance letters, requests for payment, and tenant charges.
- Issue keys and FOBs (as approved) at the tenant’s request.
- Annual unit inspection participation with LMCH team
- Processing of purchase orders and supplier/contractor access
- Other duties as assigned.

**3. EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, & QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Post secondary diploma or certificate in a social services field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Two to three years’ experience in a related field, demonstrating the following:

- Ability to work with a variety of personalities with tact, solid customer services skills, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Time management/multitasking skills and the ability to prioritize and follow through with tasks.
- Basic mathematical skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Strong work ethic and positive team attitude.
- Knowledge of community resources, the Housing Services Act, Residential Tenancies Act,
- Must possess a valid driver’s license, have access to a reliable vehicle, and carry adequate insurance,
- Bilingualism/Multilingualism is an asset.
