Administrative and Development Assistant

The Administrative and Development Assistant is a vital member of our team, thriving in a fast-paced environment and contributing to the collaborative spirit of our small team. As the initial point of contact for all incoming communication, you play a crucial role in maintaining our reputation for courtesy and efficiency. Your responsibilities encompass a variety of administrative tasks, including supporting management, organizing meetings, managing supplies, and providing essential support for fundraising and donor events and donation stewardship.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Provide administrative support to management, assisting with various tasks as required.
- Coordinate meeting logistics.
- Manage supply inventory.
- Support fundraising events and assist with donation gift processing when needed.
- Ensure accuracy and efficiency in working with philanthropic contributions, maintaining donor data integrity.
- Correspond with RIH staff regarding upcoming events and any other necessary communications.
- Respond to inquiries from donors, volunteers, and staff in a professional and timely manner.
- Assist with accommodations, prizes, staff baskets, and more in support of the Staff Retention Program; troubleshooting and problem solving is necessary.
- Be responsible for ordering equipment recognition decals and liaising with corresponding departments for decal installation.
- All other duties as assigned by the CEO or direct manager.
**Experience Required**:
- 2-3 years of high-paced office experience.
- Experience with Raiser's Edge, similar database or CR management systems preferred.
- Familiarity with fundraising, bookkeeping, data entry, or related fields.
- Strong organizational, communication, and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Outlook, and Excel
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Collaborative mindset with discretion handling confidential information.
