Sales Agronomist

We currently have opportunities for Sales Agronomist positions for Saskatoon and Yorkton area, SK. Sales Agronomists contribute to the overall success of our customers and our business - you are the one who our customers rely on for agronomic support and advice.
**Responsibilities**:
- Visit producers on their farms and identify their agricultural needs specific to agronomy and crop production, contributing to increased sales volumes and
- overall territory market expansion.
- Provide agronomic advice, services and recommendation of crop input
- products/fertilizers.
- Present ATG product and services to groups and individual growers.
- Schedule appointments, individual grower meetings, trade shows and group meetings.
- Develop opportunities to present ASLE research and on farm data with customers.
- Actively search for new opportunities that will enhance or expand ATG’s market presence and sales in the territory.
- Perform other duties as required.
Qualifications:
- A degree in Agriculture and previous experience in crop inputs
- Minimum of 3 years of applied agronomy/crop input/soil sampling/crop advisory experience.
- Demonstrated knowledge of modern farm practices and industry regulations.
- Experience in GIS, farm data platforms and ag technology would be an asset.
- Proven ability to work independently, showing effective time management, planning, and multi-tasking skills.
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- The Certified Crop Advisor designation would be considered an asset.
- Excellent interpersonal and team-building skills with a positive attitude.
Must possess a valid class 5 driver’s license with a clean driving record.
