- Intelcom's Human Resources Director will play a key role in developing and executing human resources strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives.
This role will focus primarily on leading the business partner and HR generalist function, with the potential to take on additional responsibilities.
The HR Director will work closely with senior management to drive employee engagement, talent management and organizational effectiveness.
- Key Responsibilities_
- Team leadership: Manage and guide a team of 10 HR generalists, including setting performance expectations, providing coaching and feedback, and encouraging professional development.
- Strategic planning: Develop and implement public health strategies aligned with the organization's overall goals and objectives. Collaborate with other public health leaders and senior management to ensure that public health initiatives support corporate objectives.
- Strategic Alignment: Collaborate with managers and stakeholders to understand their objectives, challenges and workforce needs. Act as a trusted advisor and strategic partner, providing HR insights and solutions to improve business results.
- Stakeholder Management: Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including executives, managers and employees. Work with them to understand their needs, address their concerns and deliver high-quality human resources services.
- Employee Relations: Oversee employee relations issues, including investigations, conflict resolution and disciplinary action. Provide advice and support to HR Generalists in dealing with complex employee relations issues.
- Employee Engagement: Collaborate with leadership to foster a positive and inclusive work environment. Develop and implement employee engagement initiatives, such as surveys, focus groups and action plans, to improve employee satisfaction, productivity and retention.
- Organizational development: Assess organizational structure, capabilities and culture to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to strengthen organizational effectiveness. Partner with executives to implement organizational changes, such as restructuring.
- Performance management: Implement performance management programs, including goal setting, performance appraisals and performance improvement plans. Ensure consistency and fairness of performance management processes.
- Talent acquisition: Work closely with the Talent Acquisition team, executives and HR generalists to support recruitment initiatives. Identify areas for improvement and develop solutions to improve processes.
- Talent Management: Partner with managers to identify critical roles, skills gaps and future talent needs. Develop and implement talent management strategies, including succession planning, talent acquisition and retention initiatives.
- Training & Development: Identify training needs and collaborate with our Talent Development team to help develop programs and update existing ones. Support the career development of HR generalists and foster a learning culture within the HR team.
- Change management: Help managers manage organizational change by providing guidance, communication strategies and change management frameworks. Help overcome resistance and ensure smooth transitions during periods of change.
- Data analysis: Utilize HR data and analytics to provide insights and recommendations on HR strategies and initiatives. Conduct data-driven analysis of workforce trends, turnover rates and employee engagement to inform decision making.
- Compliance and risk management: Keep abreast of employment legislation, regulations and health and safety best practices. Ensure compliance with legal requirements and mitigate human resources risks.
- Occupational health and safety promotion: Collaborate with the OHS advisor and managers to prevent work-related accidents and illnesses. Ensure that OHS programs are well implemented and that risks are immediately reported and addressed.
- Supervision of health and safety file management: Ensure proper management of work stoppage files related to work-related accidents, in partnership with the OHS advisor and file management partner.
- Human resources policies and procedures: Develop, implement and update human resources policies, procedures and programs, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and industry best practices. Review and revise policies in light of emerging trends or changing organizational needs.
- Human resources project management: Lead or participate in human resources projects aligned with corporate objectives, such as implementing human resources systems, improving processes or modifying policies. Manage project schedules, resources and deliverables to ensure success.
- Requirements:_
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration or related field.
