**Your opportunity**:
**Your responsibilities will include**:

- Informing stakeholders of project progress
- Formatting data collected for presentations and reports
- Maintaining project records
- Implementing and executing qualitative and/or quantitative research methods
- Overseeing the data collection and analysis processes
- Conducting systematic literature reviews
- Preparing draft statistical reports and summaries from data collected
- Analyzing results and preparing statistical reports for research papers

**Essential Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's Degree in Social Work/Health Sciences/International Relations/Women and Gender Studies or the equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum two years of direct and recent research experience
- Prior experience and demonstrated knowledge of diverse issues affecting Northern and Indigenous youth’s health and wellbeing, and global youth health, is a requirement. Examples include HIV and sexually transmitted infections, youth sexual and mental health, arts-based research, social determinants of health, Indigenous health research approaches, global health, and cross-cultural research
- Experience with research methodology (qualitative and quantitative)
- Demonstrated ability to use research database software for qualitative (e.g. Nvivo) and quantitative (e.g. SPSS, Qualtrics) data management and analysis
- Experience producing documentation for all aspects of a research project from administrative to analytical
- Experience preparing research ethics protocols
- Experience providing job-related guidance to research assistants
- Creative and integrative critical thinking skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and demonstrably strong writing skills
- Exceptional time management skills, ability to multi-task and set priorities to meet tight deadlines
- Ability to exercise good, independent judgment and decision-making skills
- Ability to take initiative and work independently with mínimal supervision
- Strong interpersonal skills including demonstrated collaborative abilities and approachability
- Ability to work effectively and as part of a team
- Strong attention-to-detail, analytical and problem solving skills

**Assets (Nonessential)**:

- Master's of Social Work (MSW) and/or Master’s in Public Health (MPH) is highly desirable
