**What will you be doing?**
- Responsible for requisition/reservation material purchases and inventory management.
- Partner with the dispatch team to ensure materials are ordered and delivered accurately. Optimize the material components for jobs by working closely with project and service teams.
- Negotiate with vendors on price, quality and delivery of materials to meet installation/service schedule. Initiate material claims with vendors. Manage materials and logistics costs to support operations.
- Receive materials using the inventory management system. Ensure materials are physically acceptable for installation in relation to quality.
- Data entry for maintaining detailed incoming and outgoing freight log
- Primary contact for clients and technicians requesting parts by phone or walk-in. Assist in warranty claims on materials with vendors and process part orders.
- Ensure compliance with BarW and client's Health, Safety and Environment Policies and Safe Work Practices and/or Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's).

**Are you qualified?**
- High school diploma is required
- Parts Training Certificate is considered an asset
- Experience working directly with vendors negotiating price, quality and delivery
- Parts management education experience as a buyer/logístical materials management is considered an asset
- 2 or more years of estimating materials experience is an asset
- Forklift experience is an asset

This is a safety sensitive position. The successful applicant will be required to pass (negative result) a drug and alcohol screening test (includes cannabis) and criminal background check (if applicable) as a condition of employment.
