Porter patients on beds/stretchers, to inpatient units, etc. General tidying of the department eg. Cleaning stretchers. Monitoring supply levels and ordering and stocking supplies as necessary. Equipment retrieval from throughout the hospital. Other duties as required.
**Qualifications**
- Minimum grade 12 education required
- Must have previous ward aide or related health care experience
- Experience with medical supplies (cleaning/stocking) required
- Must be able to diplomatically respond to customer requests in a demanding work environment
- Must be able to respond appropriately to emergency situations
- Repetitive standing & walking, frequently pushing patients on stretchers, lifting boxes of IV solutions weighing approximately 30 lbs., bending to clean stretchers
- Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Must be able to prioritize workload and function independently in a busy and stressful environment.
- Demonstrate public relations skills and the ability to diplomatically respond to physician, staff, and family inquiries in a demanding work environment.
- Satisfactory employment and attendance record.

**Additional Information** Salary**:$24.98- $25.46 per hour
