Teck is looking for an experienced Service Desk Site Support Lead to join our team at our Trail Operations, one of the world's largest fully integrated zinc and lead smelting and refining complexes.

This role is in the welcoming community of Trail, situated in the beautiful West Kootenay region of southeastern British Columbia. **Responsibilities**:

- Be a courageous safety leader, adhere to and sponsor safety and environmental rules and procedures
- Lead and develop a motivated, efficient, and enthusiastic service desk team
- Provide specialist advice and support on IT-related issues ensuring the effective management of all incidents and service requests
- Administer and manage budget and contracts including printer fleet, Teck phones including cellular, and client computing environments and standards
- Monitor and align with corporate IT strategies including managing and coordinating cross functional implementation of standardized enterprise software environments
- Assist IS Management in setting vision and direction for software selection and licensing cost management
- Lead and participate in projects related to the Service Desk
- Provide regular status reports including trending, service desk updates, and staff development reports

**Qualifications**:

- 5+ years working in a Service Desk environment required
- A degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related discipline preferred
- Prior supervisory experience preferred
- A+, Networking Fundamentals, MCP or MCSE certification preferred
- ITIL Foundation Certification preferred
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills as well as customer service skills required
