Your years of experience in information systems (IS) have helped you to become a maestro of end-user processes and infrastructure. You’ll enhance employee relationships by providing strategic and personable leadership and fostering a team culture that values exceptional customer experiences through efficient and effortless solutions. We need you and your unique skill to join our Company as an IS Operations Lead.

In this role, you’ll provide functional and technical oversight to key operational objectives for end-user computing technology, driving productivity and compliance with business processes. In this role, you will:
Provide guidance and expertise in the development and implementation of IS operational policies and procedures, including those for standards, purchasing, and service delivery.
Form and foster effective relationships with customers, peers, vendors, and service providers.
Support day-to-day operational management with installing, configuring, monitoring, and patching of end-user devices.
Continue improving IS Operations processes to create a near seamless experience for Gas and Electric IS employees and IS customers.
Contribute to the department's planning and budgeting of yearly sustainment projects.
Support new implementation projects to integrate and enhance functions into the existing design of processes, business rules, and configuration. Tasks may include, but are not limited to:
Audit hardware purchases completed by users in the company and contact them regarding IS and Fortis policy.
Provide quarterly FHI expenditures from SR's, IN's and refreshes.
Work with our managed service provider, Gas and Electric teams on knowledge base changes/enhancements
Manage budgets for IS sustainment and projects, may include invoicing and procurement.
Project meetings and provide approvals or denials - Provide support and constructive feedback to help review project turnover requirements.
Meetings with I&O management to go over the resourcing, policies and procedures
Facilitate IS involvement with facilities site planning.
Facilitate hardware imaging and software catalogue improvements
Enhance the IS customer experience by aligning policies and answering support related questions.
Follow up on customer satisfaction surveys with end users and managers.
Liaison with IS Communications to enhance our connector presence.
Review and approve of change management requests.
Liaison with enterprise services on software procurement and licensing.
Enhance patching practices by working with our IS QA department. What it takes:
A certificate, diploma, or degree in computer sciences or related discipline, plus a minimum of four years of directly related experience.
Excellent organizational and prioritization skills to manage numerous complex projects that sustain a high standard of quality.
Great communication skills to provide effective solutions to your clients and ensure your teams work in tandem to deliver the best IS experiences.
Exceptional leadership skills to manage large teams and enable your peers to excel to their full potential.
Demonstrated agility and adaptability to incorporate new technologies and best practices into existing systems.
