**About Us**:
The Licensing Office is the public-facing central intake for the Licensing and Compliance Monitoring Branch, which administers licensing, follows up on concerns and is the central intake for incident reporting as it relates to Continuing Care.

**Role**:
Are you passionate about ensuring a safe and secure quality of life for Albertans in continuing care accommodations? Do you have experience in citizen centered service delivery, customer relations, problem solving? If so, this opportunity may be for you

Intake Officers triage and analyze complex situations to clearly identify issues, determine how to help resolve complaints, frame issues for escalation, and provide regular reports to management.

**Qualifications**:
High school diploma and four years of related experience.

Experience required:

- Working with the public;
- Working with high volume calls and that each callers’ needs are determined, met and/or are re-directed, as needed;
- Working and dealing with difficult situations and respond in a composed manner;
- Record management;
- Word, Excel, Outlook, and Adobe Pro; and
- Working in a team environment.

Asset:

- Experience with the Health Information Act and Freedom of Information Act; and
- Demonstrated understanding of continuing care system.

Equivalencies maybe considered - directly related education or experience on the basis of:

- 1 year of education for 1 year of experience; or
- 1 year of experience for 1 year of education.

**Salary**:
$2,042.85 to $2,511.73 bi-weekly ($53,318 - $65,556 / year)

**Notes**:
Hours of Work: 36.25 hours per week (full time)

Location: ATB Place, North Tower, 10025 Jasper Avenue, Edmonton

This position is required to work onsite from the office and may not be eligible to participate in the hybrid work program at this time.
