**The Opportunity**

We are currently looking to hire an **Intake Coordinator** for our Rehabilitation Facility in Grouard, Alberta. This opportunity will be a permanent position. You’ll get to work with a growing organization where you will gain valuable experience in the field of rehabilitation care

Reporting to both the Program Director and Executive Director, the Intake Coordinator is responsible for managing daily office administrative tasks and assumes the responsibility for the coordination of all relevant and pertinent information regarding the intake of clients into the program.

Some key responsibilities include:

- Facilitates and coordinates assessment and intake of new clients, monitoring and ensuring timely processing.
- Develops and prepares necessary intake information forms, medical forms, waivers, client admission packages to be utilized by the Centre.
- Interviews new clients before they arrive at the treatment center to ensure they are prepared for the rigour of the treatment center and programs.
- Coordinates each client intake as per arrival times, transportation to the center, bedroom assignments and counselor/client caseload.
- Arranges transportation for necessary appointments made by Treatment staff.
- Provides status reports and updates to Program & Executive Directors.

- Able to build relationships with peers, clients, and leaders.

You possess the following education, experience, and skills:

- High School Diploma or equivalency is required.
- 2-4 years Office Administrative experience is required.
- Background in Social Work or Addictions would be considered an asset.
- Intermediate level proficiency in MS Office products.
